The Lindenwood elected Board Members, teamed with Hawthorne Management Company, hold quarterly board meetings and committee meetings. Each quarterly meeting is attended by all board members and our Hawthorne Representative, in open meeting format. One annual meeting takes place each year where all residents are invited and encouraged to attend. Emergency meetings, as well as various sub-committee meetings, take place with the secretary recording the minutes at all of these events. All minutes are saved for future reference.

Hawthorne Management Company has been serving Charlotte area homeowners' associations since 1988. They have been Lindenwood's management company since our neighborhood began. Hawthorne's Mission Statement reads: "We work diligently to help enforce the governing documents of each homeowners association to contract dependable vendors who perform quality work, and to maintain proper financial records. We pledge to assure that members of the community have an attractive and pleasant place to live. We perform our tasks in a courteous and professional manner, and will continuously strive for better ways to get the job done." Their services have been helpful to our community in a unique situation, as our growth and completion took a longer period of time than expected, due to all the questions regarding area development.
